We at Gujarat Law Society in collaboration of Mudra Institute of Communication (MICA) had set up an Entrepreneurship Development Center (MICA-EDC) - a Post Graduate Program in Communications Management and Entrepreneurship (PGPCME).
The program aimed to develop innovators and entrepreneurs for the communications industry. The first batch of this 15-month program was inaugurated on August 3, 2007. The batch consists of 60 students have successfully launched their own businesses.
It was my privilege to inaugurate centre with Mr. Madhukar Kamath, MD and CEO, Mudra Communications, and chairman, Mudra Foundation for Communications.
The aim of the center was to promote business initiatives in the area of communications management. MICA has received active support from GLS for establishing infrastructural facilities for this program. GLS & MICA’s resources in terms of industry linkages and competent faculty members had ensured a high quality of education and training in entrepreneurship and communications
