Today as I sit back and reminisce my college days, the way I was as a student and pace at which my career has progressed, I am stunned. I feel immense proud that I have been able to establish myself like many of my batch-mates. Irrespective a senior or a junior, the fact that they have been with me at the same benches or the same trust as mine makes me immensely happy. Mr. Justice A. R. Dave and Mr. Justice G. T. Nanavati who served as judge at the Supreme Court. Mr. Justice B. C. Patel, Mr. Justice S. D. Shah and Mr. Justice R. H. Shukla were the former high court judges. Mr. Justice S. R. Brahmbhatt, sitting Judge - High Court of Gujarat while Dr. K. J. Thakar, a sitting Judge at Allahabad High Court. Some of my batch comrades has extended their services other than courts like CA Shri S. H. Talati, is a former President at All India Chartered Accountants’ Association while Shri N. K. Pathak, Former Director at University School of Law, Gujarat University and former Director, Institute of Law, Nirma University and Shri N. K. Pathak, former Director at Institute of Law, Nirma University and former Director, Gujarat University School of Law. More honored I feel when I see some of them building a strong reputation in politics like Mr. Yogendrabhai Makwana, a Former Minister for State Agriculture & Rural Development Govt. of India, Mr. Prafulbhai Barot - Former Mayor City of Ahmedabad and Mr. Prabodhbhai Raval Former Education & Home Minister Gujarat State. This rich alumnus not only signifies the glory of the rich legacy that my trust GLS could maintain in the legal domain but also enlightens the quality of education offered by faculties.
