It was a wonderful day. Since long I wanted to acknowledge contribution of entrepreneurship to the society. With this thought we coined an idea to reward people who have contributed significantly to the management science and welfare of the society. With this thought process Gujarat Law Society’s Institute of Business Management's "Excellence in Management Award – was established in 2007.
Shri Narendra Modi, the then Hon'ble Chief Minister, Gujarat State presented the silver trophy and certificate to Shri Gautam S. Adani, Chairman, Adani Group in recognition of his exceptional contribution in the field of business management and his distinguished leadership in the august presence of Shri Anilbhai Patel, Hon'ble Minister for Industries and Tourism, Gujarat State as guest of honour .
The glittering function was attended by over a thousand invitees from various corporate houses and academic institutions from all over Gujarat as well as faculty, staff and students of Gujarat Law Society.
